A Small Stone - Day Nine

A blue & gold china cup, given with love.

I shall drink from it every day

And think of you, with love.

A Small Stone - Day Eight

A smiling man in a yellow T-shirt

Collects donations for an animal welfare charity.

His three small terriers, white & tan,

Jostle for attention from passersby.

I see them again later, heading home.

A team of four; all for one & one for all.

A Small Stone - Day 7

I must be honest here, I made myself laugh with this one.

It's a sad state of affairs,

When you have to sit on the stairs

To take your boots off.

Kirsten.

A Small Stone - Day Six

A dry riverbed of multi-coloured small stones, wending & winding.

I miss living next to water.

A Small Stone - Day Five

Day five & I am seriously stuck. I've spent most of the day trying to write something, but can't think of anything. So......

Time & again, the blank, white page challenges me to fill it

And time & again, the pen is motionless in my hand.

Finally, I scrawl 'tomorrow', over & over & over again.

It is, after all, another day.

Small Stones - Day Four

I've been following Kaspa's free, online course, Experience The World More Deeply In 7 Days, at www.mightybell.com & lesson 4 inspired my small stone for today.

There she is, my old friend.

It's been a long time, she's a grandmother now.

She sees me.

Our hugs are warm & tight, our smiles wide.

We haven't changed.

A Third Small Stone

Today's small stone was inspired by the gale force winds that are battering the country.

A frenzy of plastic ribbons

Strangle bare, flailing branches.
